Nampa Rotary Grant

Hands of Hope Northwest received a Grant from the Nampa Rotary Club,Nampa Rotary Community Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation Grant for 2011. Debbie Wheeler accepted the grant for the local loan program at the Rotary Lunch on Tuesday and spoke briefly about how Hands of Hope Northwest helps the local community and how the grant will benefit the local loan program.   5 Non-Profit organizations in the Nampa area were selected to each receive a $500 grant to help with a local project that would benefit the local community.  Hands of  Hope Northwest submitted an application for the local loan program that supplies durable used wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, bathbenches etc… for those who have a need and can’t afford to buy the equipment.  The money will go towards repairs and replacement parts for the equipment to keep it in a safe working condition.
