Family Volunteers

You too can make a difference in the lives of others around the world by volunteering.  This summer, a family planned a reunion and they decided that one evening would be devoted to others, by volunteering at the ministry center.  There were kids of all ages and several adults.  They made arrangements ahead of time to let the coordinator know that there would be a large group coming.  The group of about 16 folded linens and packaged them up for about an hour and a half.  They had a good time visiting with each other and the regular volunteers while they worked.  The example they showed to their children of how to make an impact on the world, by doing small things here a home will have a lasting impression on them.  For more information about having your family or group volunteer, contact Debbie Wheeler at the ministry center.
