Liz Murtland, the Founding Director of Hands of Hope, was honored Wednesday night August 3rd
at her retirement dinner with several gifts from the Hands of Hope Board, individual volunteers, and staff, and by a special presentation from Bethany Wright of Kansas City Compassionate Ministries, Inc. Mayor Tom Dale was the Keynote Speaker, praising Liz and the accomplishments of Hands of Hope under her leadership. Approximately 130 friends and family, volunteers, and supporters gathered to honor Liz and celebrate her retirement.
