Todd Aebischer Appointed New Director

DirectorsI have exciting news to share with you about the future of Hands of Hope! Over a year ago our Executive Director, Liz Murtland, indicated her intention to retire. Consequently a search committee was formed and a nation-wide effort to recruit a new Executive Director was begun. Through that process I believe God has led us to the perfect person to lead Hands of Hope forward.

I am pleased and excited to announce that Todd Aebischer has accepted the offer to become the next Executive Director for Hands of Hope. Todd and his wife, Connie, bring a wealth of experience to Hands of Hope as missionaries and from their involvement in both large and small businesses. As a missionary pilot in Micronesia and for the Church of the Nazarene in Ivory Coast, Todd has seen firsthand the pressing need for medical supplies and quality medical care that exists in much of the world. His experience in business has honed his skills as a manager. As Todd said during his interview, as he and Connie looked at the job requirements it was as if God had been preparing them for this position for years. Todd’s experience and training lined up perfectly with Hands of Hope’s need.

Todd has expressed an incredible vision for the future of Hands of Hope and how it may better meet the medical needs of people in the Treasure Valley through the Local Medical Equipment Loan program and of people around the world through the International program. I hope you will continue to support us through this transition and beyond with your prayers and financial support.
