Volunteers are the life blood of Hands of Hope Northwest. In 2009, 140 volunteers worked about 6,700 hours. That is the equivalent of three full-time employees and one part-time.
Volunteers are needed to sort, inventory, repair, and package donated medical equipment and supplies. They are also needed to load containers when shipments are ready to send.
You do not need medical training to be able to volunteer at Hands of Hope. Work is available for people with all levels of expertise and physical ability.
